Stergin is a multi-instrumentalist, performer, songwriter, composer and producer.
His work has been recognised by the Arts Council UK, Help Musicians UK (Do It Differently Award 2018), The Sir Richard Stapley Trust and the Austrian Cultural Forum, as well as being the recipient of multiple academic recognition awards.
He studied at the conservatory Mozarteum in Salzburg and at Trinity College of Music in London.
For the award-winning, published musician, the act of making music is its own reward. Growing up in the Austrian mountains, he studied classical clarinet, worked for human rights organizations in Los Angeles and Amsterdam, started a rock band and sang in choirs, before doing a Masters in composition in London, where he still resides today.
“I’m a work in progress and I love it,” says Vinzenz.
