THE PROJECT

A Polaroid camera got sent around the globe. 12 different people took a single shot of a place that’s special to them.

Once the photos came back, me and my band ‘Ode To Lucius’ wrote and produced 12 tracks inspired by those photos and related stories.

This then toured as a live concert with an accompanying exhibition.

NUMBERS

The camera traveled 61800 km. This is the same distance as you would be running the London Marathon 1466 times. It took nearly 2 years for the camera to complete it’s world circumnavigation.

THE PROJECT

InHouse records is an award winning social initiative, with a proven track record of creating positive change for society. InHouse Records reduces the recidivism rate.

It is a rehabilitative record label for change. Operating in and out of UK prisons across the South East of England since 2017.

I developed this magazine for InHouse Records and Halo PA services (we used their warehouse to shoot it). InHouse needed a YouTube presence and Halo wanted to build up their newly created live studio presence to attract new clients.

In the magazine I interview ex-prisoners about their journeys and the positive impact music had on their lives. I also managed the production and edited the videos.

A magazine style compilation of content from the whole DC volunteer body discussing anything and everything from the world of cinema.

The Deptford Cinema Podcast is curated by an assortment of volunteers from the DC family, their individual episodes focusing on a theme they are passionate about, whether that be film, volunteering, community cinema or all of the above…

Each episode is lovingly crafted by our volunteers using an assortment of our regular chapter titles.

He loves movies…and board games. He likes cooking Gumbo for his friends and spending Sundays in his bathrobe.

But most importantly: he is my neighbour and he recommends films.

Due to her Neighbour working remotely at the moment, Volunteer Nora once again met up with him at his rather unusual current residency. They not only discuss “A Girl Walks Home Alone at Night” and “Dead Man”, they also talk about space, an interesting way of sending Blue Rays up there and the chance of a promising future film collaboration.

RED BULL “SOUNDSCAPES”

Red Bull teamed up with Shure, specialists in all things audio, to create Red Bull Soundscapes – a project that challenges rising music producers to capture the sounds of Red Bull’s flagship sporting events and make them into brand new music productions. Along for the ride this time was Manchester electronic producer Anz, who used the brand new Shure MV88+ microphone to explore the audio world of Hardline – from crunchy landings over the course’s notorious freeride-style jumps to the sound of bike maintenance and the cheers of the crowd.
